Meet The Team
Chelsea (Founder)
Milton Keynes has been my home for most of my life — and I absolutely love it here. I’ve lived in almost every corner, from Hanslope to Newport Pagnell and Kingsmead to Brooklands, so I really do know MK inside out.
I’ve raised two children as a single parent whilst running Monarch Driving School, which I founded in 2009.
I met Sharon in 1997 when we were both 17, working in a factory in Buckingham. Since then, we’ve worked together on countless ventures — most notably the driving school, which has kept us busy for many years.
Now it’s time for a new adventure. We’ve spotted a real need for safe, reliable transport where passengers, especially women, can choose a women driver, and we’re passionate about filling that gap. With my best friend by my side and a bucket full of enthusiasm, I’m excited to make a difference.
Sharon (Founder)
My name is Sharon and I’ve lived in Milton Keynes for most of my life. I’m also a busy mum of two young daughters, who inspire me every day. My career has taken me from Personal Fitness Trainer to Police Officer, and for the last decade I’ve been a driving instructor here in Milton Keynes.
I’ve always loved teaching people about road safety—and now I’m excited to bring that passion into the taxi industry. After hearing so many of my female students saying that they would love the option of a female taxi driver I felt inspired to create a new taxi company – and I hope that some of my ex-learners will work with us in the future.
Women’s Wheelz Taxis is our way of combining road safety, customer service, and community spirit to create a taxi service with a difference—one that the public, especially women, can truly rely on.
Roxy (Driver)
My name is Roxy and I’m proud to have recently joined Women’s Wheelz as one of the female drivers in Milton Keynes. I’m passionate about providing a safe, friendly and reliable service, making every passenger feel comfortable from the moment they step into my car.
I have recently graduated in Business Management from the University of Bedfordshire and I’m continuing to develop myself professionally whilst doing something I genuinely enjoy. I love meeting new people, helping others and being part of a company that supports women and the local community.
Joining Women’s Wheelz felt like the perfect opportunity to be part of something meaningful, and I’m excited to meet all the lovely passengers across Milton Keynes. I would confidently recommend this company to anyone looking for a safe, supportive and professional environment, and I would also encourage other women searching for a flexible job opportunity to join our team.
